What We Believe!

We believe Jesus Christ is the only-begotten Son of God; that He  died as the spotless Lamb of God for the sin of the world (John 1:29); that He rose from literal, physical death (1 Cor.15:1-8); that the Bible is the inspired Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16-17); that man is the creation of God, but due to Adam's forsaking of God in the Garden of Eden, Adam and all his posterity became sinners and lost fellowship with God through that one transgression. Consequently, spiritual death passed upon all men (Romans 5:12), for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).  However, because of the death of Jesus Christ, the forgiveness of sin, the escape from God's judgment, and the promise of eternal life are available to the one who believes in Jesus Christ (John 3:16-17).

We believe the Church is the body of Christ on earth. It is comprised of those who have been born of the Holy Spirit, are empowered by that Spirit to convey the message of salvation to the lost and to minister to the saved (Eph.4:1-16). We believe the primary goal of the Church is to know Jesus Christ and enjoy Him forever.

We further believe that the Church has a responsibility to speak to the issues of the day ~ not only to the Church, but to the Culture, to the Family and to Government. We believe these four Mandates [Culture, Government, Family and the Church] are under the Lordship of Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:16-17); and that the Church has no power to control, but has the divine responsibility to freely address these Mandates.

We further believe Jesus Christ will one day return to earth and reign as King of kings and Lord of lords (1 Thess.4:13-18).
